Group Offerings
Private engagement with one's life is an important and necessary part of the personal journey; yet there are times when we can benefit greatly from the collective energy and focus of a group. Understanding this, Empowered Journey forms the basis for a school and community of dedicated practitioners.
Our aim as a community is to be together in honest inquiry, committed practice, and playful celebration. As well, we aim to maintain the highest possible energetic integrity, so that when one or another of us is experiencing great challenge or a lack of energy, the collective power of the group can help to see them through. I have experienced this many times myself and am deeply grateful to have such people in my life. In the Buddha's teaching, such a person is kalyana mitta, or 'excellent friend', and the group is called Satsangha or 'community of truth'.
